Minors Division (Ages 9, 10, and some 11)
- Player Assessment: Players are evaluated based on skill and safety, and then placed in the appropriate division for a fun and successful season.
- Age Group: All 9-year-olds and the majority of 10-year-olds are placed in the Minors division, with a select few 10-year-olds potentially being moved to the Majors division based on skill and assessment.
- Team Formation: Teams are formed through a coach-led draft process to ensure balanced rosters. Parent requests for team placements are not honored.
- Development Focus: The primary goal is player development, with an emphasis on providing equal playing time and allowing players to experience different positions.
- Season Schedule:
- Runs from late March to mid-June.
- Early in the season: 1 weekday practice + 1 Saturday game.
- Later in the season: 1 weekday game + 1 Saturday game.
- Rules: Little League Baseball rules apply, along with league-specific modifications.
- In Minors the kids will play on a 46/60 feet size field; the pitching mound is 46 feet to home plate and base distance is 60 feet.
- District Tournament Eligibility: Players must play in at least 8 regular-season games (excluding playoffs) to qualify for post-season play.
- Player Approval: League age 11s may be approved to play in the Majors division if needed.
