Coaching Clearances

As a volunteer, three things are required:

1. COMPLETE 2025 LITTLE LEAGUE VOLUNTEER APPLICATION AND BACKGROUND CHECK

The LL application will be completed online this year via Little League International's background check service JDP.  This must be completed annually.  No paper applications will be accepted.  As a result, DSLL will no longer be in possession of Volunteers' personal information including Social Security Numbers. All volunteers will receive an email from JPD in the next few days with instructions on how to complete the application and background check.

2.  ATTEND MANDATORY SAFETY MEETING

The annual Coaches Safety Meeting will be held virtually at a date and time to be announced - sometime in mid-March.  Your attendance is mandatory.

3.  PROVIDE VOLUNTEER CLEARANCES

As a volunteer that will be interacting with children, it is necessary for our league to obtain clearances for you as required by Little League International and the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
