| | Berwyn Fire Company shows their DSLL Pride | | | Devon Strafford Little League thanks our sponsors for all their support. They not only help us financially, but often can be found pitching in throughout the year.
Please consider sponsoring a team this year. Your donation helps our kids, and your Firm's name, your cause, or Family name is displayed on the back of your team's shirt. This is a great way to show support for DSLL, and promote your business or favorite charity! All donations are tax deductible, and your Firm advertisement will be on our site which had over 55 thousand hits in 2011!
For all you do, this "Thanks" for you!

| | | | Registration for 2012 Spring Little League is open! | | | | | | | by
posted 12/11/2011 Registration is Open for Baseball, Softball and TeeBall for the 2012 season. Except for TeeBall, we have decided to change our Deadline Date to January 31, 2012. Because of preparations which include tryouts, coach selections, player drafts, it is becoming more and more necessary to finalize our registration much earlier. Also, to help us with that aim, we have increased the Post Deadline Late Fee to $50. Our Fees are the same as last year and we have retained our Family Maximum of $325. If you are unsure that your son or daughter wants to still play, I recommend registering anyway, we can always refund any money.
If you are one of the families who has been hit by the hard economic times, please be assured that no child will be turned away who wants to play. Contact me, Steve Rossi, President of the league, and I will register your child at no cost, anonymously.
.
For the first time, we are opening TeeBall Registration to League Age 4 participants. We are also using the boy’s deadline date of April 30 after gaining approval to do so. DSLL is partnering with GrandSlam USA in Malvern to provide clinics for the Fours. The clinics are aimed to teach the game basics to both the players and the parents. We are very excited to be offering this. Many of these boys and girls are not attending the schools in our area so please get the word out to those neighbors who have younger kids and are not familiar with DSLL.

Make your donation here
We realize that the existing facilities at our home field complex, Clarke, are no longer adequate, and may present potential hazards.
Building a new Pavilion that houses a Snack Shack with covered seating, puts us at par with other leagues, reduces risk, & makes our facilities more comfortable for our families. The new building will also serve as storage for equipment (both for field maintenance, shared equipment & others gear). We’ve enjoyed the benefit of those that came before us who donated and cultivated the field and existing structures. We, to, have contributed to maintaining the fields and structures. We should all be proud of the commitments we’ve made to support the kids, the league, and our contribution to all that goes with it. We’d like to think that we can work towards continuing to help our kids, grandchildren, and future kids that come to the call of “PLAY BALL!”
We ask that we all reach deep for a donation towards the project. We also ask that if you know someone who may be willing to donate please ask them!
-
A commitment for a generous donation for the snack shack / storage pavilion at Clarke Field
-
As a non-profit organization, our donations are tax-deductible
-
The knowledge that we are helping the kids & community for many years
-
Support in any meeting you get or people you require detail from.
THANK YOU!
